Please read these Terms carefully before using the website or completing a purchase.

By accessing the website, creating an order, purchasing a digital product or subscribing to a Velary service, you agree to be bound by these Terms together with the policies referenced herein.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Prices, Currency and Taxes

  • Remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights.

Customers may not, without prior written authorization:

  • Upload the content publicly;

  • Share paid access credentials;

  • Resell the content;

  • Redistribute the files;

  • License the materials to third parties;

  • Publish the materials elsewhere; or

  • Commercially exploit Velary content.

Purchasing a product gives the customer a limited right to use the content for its intended personal educational purpose. It does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

8. Immediate Delivery and Withdrawal Rights

Customers in certain jurisdictions, including consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom, may ordinarily benefit from statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights in relation to distance contracts.

Special rules apply to digital content supplied immediately.

Where applicable law requires it, before immediate supply of digital content begins, customers may be asked to:

  • Expressly consent to immediate delivery;

  • Request that supply begins before the normal withdrawal period expires; and

  • Acknowledge that beginning supply may result in the loss of the statutory right of withdrawal.

Where the legally required conditions have been satisfied and digital supply has begun, a customer may no longer have a change-of-mind right to cancel that digital-content purchase.

Where those conditions have not been satisfied, any statutory withdrawal rights available to the customer remain unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights relating to digital content that is defective, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to applicable consumer law.

9. Digital Delivery

Digital products will normally be supplied:

  • By direct download;

  • Through an email containing a download or access link;

  • Through a secure customer area;

  • Through an online platform or members' area; or

  • Through another electronic delivery method described during purchase.

Customers are responsible for providing a valid email address and accurate contact information.

If a customer does not receive purchased content, they should contact Velary so that we can investigate the order and restore or provide access where appropriate.

10. Subscription Services

Certain Velary products may include optional recurring monthly subscription services.

Depending on the subscription purchased, these services may include:

  • Additional educational content;

  • Follow-up materials;

  • Dog training guidance;

  • New digital resources;

  • Ongoing educational support; and

  • Other features described before purchase.

The subscription price and billing frequency will be displayed before checkout.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, the customer authorizes recurring payments according to the billing frequency disclosed at the time of purchase.

11. Recurring Payments

Unless cancelled, recurring subscriptions may automatically renew for successive billing periods in accordance with the subscription conditions presented at checkout.

Customers will be charged using the payment method associated with the subscription.

By subscribing, the customer authorizes our payment provider to process the applicable recurring payment until the subscription is cancelled.

Velary will not intentionally impose undisclosed recurring charges.

The recurring nature of a subscription and applicable price must be presented to the customer before the subscription is completed.

12. Subscription Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of a recurring subscription at any time by contacting:

The customer should contact us before the next scheduled billing date if they wish to prevent the next renewal payment.

Once cancellation has been processed:

  • Future recurring payments will stop;

  • The subscription will not renew for another billing period; and

  • Access associated with the current paid period may continue until the end of that billing period, where applicable.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create a right to reimbursement for a billing period that has already been validly charged.

This does not affect any refund, cancellation or withdrawal right available under mandatory applicable law.

13. Payments

Payments may be securely processed through third-party payment providers, including Stripe.

Velary does not directly store customers' complete payment card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.

Our payment providers may collect and process information necessary to:

  • Authorize payments;

  • Process recurring payments;

  • Prevent fraud;

  • Verify transactions;

  • Process refunds; and

  • Manage payment disputes.

Use of those payment services may also be subject to the relevant provider's own legal and privacy terms.

14. Billing Descriptor

Transactions associated with Velary may appear on a customer's bank or card statement using the billing descriptor:

or a substantially similar descriptor associated with Velary where required by the applicable payment provider or banking system.

Customers who do not recognize a transaction are encouraged to contact us so that we can help identify the relevant purchase or subscription.

15. Refunds

Refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, duplicate payments, incorrect charges and subscription cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy available on this website.

That policy forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in the Refund & Cancellation Policy or these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights.

16. Educational Purpose

Velary products provide general educational information concerning:

  • Dog education;

  • Training;

  • Behaviour;

  • Responsible ownership; and

  • Related educational topics.

The materials are designed to assist dog owners in improving their understanding of responsible training and education.

They are not intended to constitute veterinary diagnosis, veterinary treatment or individual medical advice.

Where a dog presents signs of illness, injury, serious behavioural difficulties, severe anxiety, aggression or another condition requiring individual professional assessment, customers should consult an appropriately qualified veterinarian, trainer or animal behaviour professional.

17. No Guarantee of Specific Results

Every dog is different.

Velary therefore does not guarantee any particular behavioural, training or educational outcome.

Results may vary depending on factors including:

  • The dog's age;

  • Health;

  • Breed and individual characteristics;

  • Temperament;

  • Environment;

  • Previous experiences;

  • Behavioural history;

  • Owner participation;

  • Training consistency; and

  • Correct application of the educational methods.

Testimonials, examples or customer experiences presented by Velary should not be interpreted as guarantees that another customer or dog will obtain identical results.

Differences in individual results do not, by themselves, mean that a product is defective.

This does not affect statutory rights where digital content fails to conform to the contract.

18. Customer Responsibility and Safety

Customers are responsible for applying educational information responsibly and appropriately to their individual circumstances.

Users should not apply training methods in circumstances that may reasonably create a risk of injury or harm.

If the customer's dog displays behaviour that reasonably requires professional intervention, the customer should seek appropriate individual assistance rather than relying solely on general digital educational materials.

Nothing in these Terms transfers responsibility for the customer's physical supervision, control or care of their animal to Velary.

19. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website and its original content are owned by or lawfully licensed to Velary.

Protected content may include:

  • Text

  • eBooks

  • Training guides

  • Educational materials

  • Images

  • Graphics

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Designs

  • Videos

  • Downloads

  • Written exercises

  • Website content

  • Subscription content

  • Digital resources

Such content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Customers receive only the limited personal-use rights expressly associated with their purchase.

No intellectual property rights are transferred to the customer merely because a product has been purchased.

In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude:

  • Mandatory consumer rights;

  • Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • Liability that cannot legally be excluded;

  • Rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital content; or

  • Any other protection which applicable law requires to remain available.

24. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains, among other matters:

Accordingly, customers located in the United Kingdom or another European jurisdiction may retain mandatory consumer rights available to them under applicable local law.

28. Disputes and Jurisdiction

If a problem arises relating to a purchase, customers are encouraged to contact Velary first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising any right to bring a claim before a court or competent authority available to them under mandatory applicable law.

Any dispute for which the parties are legally permitted to choose jurisdiction will be dealt with by the competent courts determined under applicable law.
